Non-implementation of educational policies: an inhibition to education process (an appraisal of national policy on educational services in Nigeria)
Abstract
The realization of the importance of adequate facilities in schools prompted the planners of the nations educational services. It was observed that efficacy of the National Policy (1981) to educational services will promote the efficacy of education as learning will become more meaningful for children. Unfortunately the non-implementation of the policy has continued to inhibit educational process. The paper therefore examines the national policy on educational services and highlights some of the problems associated with policy implementation and effects of non-implementation of policies on students. The paper makes some suggestions for improvement.
