Information And Communication Technology, Globalisation And Women Education In Nigeria

Abstract

ICT, an acronym for information and communication technology, revolutionized the world thereby bringing about globalization. As humanity reaped its benefits, women seemed unrecognized. The paper examines the benefits of ICT and globalization to women in Nigeria. It further explored how these benefits influenced their children positively. The paper also looked at impediments to effective use of ICT and offered recommendations which could go a long way in getting majority of women involved in the use of ICT.
