Deregulation And Appropriate Pricing In The Downstream Sector Of The Nigerian Oil Industry
Abstract
This work x-rays the pricing of petroleum products in the Nigeria economy. From its findings it is able to establish that the petroleum product pricing has been very eccentric and at variance with what obtains in other countries of the world (both oil producing and non-oil producing). It calls on the government to tread warily, as the socio-economic impact of its pricing policy is widespread and severe on the people and the economy
