2-Point self-starting parallel second derivatives block method for the solution of stiff initial value problems
Abstract
Background: In this paper we developed a parallel block method for the solution of stiff initial value problems in ordinary differential equation. The objective is to show that the boundary locus plot of the block method is A-stable and L-stable for block size r=2 . The Numerical results also show graphically that the method competes favourably with the backward differentiation formulae (BDF).
