Abstract
Two cases hereafter reported by the author demonstrated keratopathy, mydriasis and anterior lens capsule opacity and, a severe cystoid Macular oedema – a very rare complication of Bee/Hymenoptera sting to the eye. The Cystoid macular oedema induced a macular hole which led to a retinal detachment after 6 months. The first case was seen 1995 at the Hopeville Rehabilitation Centre Uturu. The second case was seen 6-months later at the General Hospital, Owerri.
