Peer Review
Preliminary review and sorting of manuscripts by level of interest and correct formatting by the editor, deputy editor and associate editor. Two other reviewers involved per paper. Double blind review process. The editorial board make the final decision on including a submission for publication. A review takes one month

Abstracting and indexing information
The journey is indexed with AJOL, Genamics JournalSeek, Global Health, Google Scholar, Health & Wellness Research Center, Health Reference Center Academic, Hinari, National Science Library, OpenJGate, SCOLOAR and SIIC databases.
Information for Authors
There are page charges for JOMIP submissions and the journal also charges authors for colour reproduction of photographs. All manuscripts must be submitted by E-mail through the editorial office.
Subscription information
A subscription to JOMIP comprises 3 issues. Prices include postage. Annual subscription rate for non-members:
- Institutional: N3,000 for Nigeria, USD270 for outside Nigeria
- Personal: N1500 for Nigeria, USD270 for outside Nigeria
For mode of payment and other details, please contact the editorial office. Claims for missing issues will be serviced at no charge if received within 60days of the cover date for domestic subscribers and 3 months for issues not delivered because of failure to notify publisher of change of address.
The journal is published and distributed by Wolters Kluwer India Private Limited. Copies are sent to subscribers directly from the publisher's address. It is illegal to acquire copies from any other source. If a copy is received for personal use as a member of the association/ society, one cannot resale or give away the copy for commercial or library use.

Advertising policies
The journal accepts display and classified advertising. Frequency discounts and special positions are available. Inquiries about advertising should be sent to the editorial office. The journal reserves the right to reject any advertisement considered unsuitable according to the set policies of the journal.
