Abstract

This study aims to identify the impact of adopting organizational development approaches on improving organizational performance in Jordanian government companies. The analytical descriptive approach was used to study and describe the phenomena precisely as they are, and interpret them qualitatively and quantitatively. A questionnaire was designed for this purpose, and distributed to samples from government companies in Jordanian ; 180 questionnaires were distributed to the selected companies employees, and where 160 questionnaires were completed and returned to the researchers. The Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) was used for collecting primary data and testing the hypotheses. The results have shown that there is a significant relationship between the organizational developments in general and the organizational performance in the selected government companies in Jordan. In addition to the above, the research also showed that there is a positive awareness of organizational development and organizational performance elements among sample study according to their personal characteristics.
