Abstract

The issue of developing the resources of sovereign wealth funds has gained increasing importance in the global financial system, Due to the great role of these funds in moving and reviving the economy, as well as being a modern method for absorbing financial surpluses, and an investment entity that contributes to the diversification of national income sources, and achieving sustainable development to the extent that guarantees the rights of future generations.


On this basis, sovereign wealth funds are looking for sources of financing from financial engineering products, Which provided many traditional options such as sovereign bonds, And with the advent of Islamic financial engineering, which resulted in Islamic sukuk to benefit from them as one of the modern alternatives to financing.
