Abstract

This research paper deals with measuring and analyzing the impact of the policy of attracting foreign direct investment on the growth of Algerian exports for the period (1986-2020). between them, which were derived from various studies conducted on many countries, then we tried to rely on the standard method of the Autoregressive Lagging Distribution (ARDL) model, to measure the relationship between foreign direct investment and exports, and finally that model was applied to the Algerian economy Where it was found through all this that foreign direct investment does not affect the growth of exports, and this is due to its concentration mainly in the hydrocarbon sector.
