The effects of classroom feedback on the academic performance of senior secondary school students in Bassa local government area of Plateau State
Abstract
This study inestigated the effects of classroom feedback on the academic performance of senior secondary students in Bassa LGA of Plateau State. The research made use of the experimental design with a total of 60 participants comprising of 33 boys and 27 girls within the age range of 15-17. To achieve the purpose of the study, three hypotheses were formulated. Data was collected using a self-report instrument as well as a teacher-made-performance-test in English Language. The result found that classroom feedback was effective in influencing students' academic performance and interest. Thus, it was recommended that teachers should provide regular feedback to their students.
