Reviewers can recommend that the article is publishable with minor corrections, publishable with moderate corrections, publishable with major corrections, publishable with major corrections and re-assessment, and not publishable. Once the reviews are returned to the editor, the key corrections are compiled. Then the reviews with the key corrections are returned to the authors. Further Information

The purpose of the Department of Educational Foundations, University of Jos, is to produce high-quality educators with the necessary academic, analytic, and pedagogic skills to effectively contribute to teaching and administration in the Nigerian educational system. To this end, the Department of Educational Foundations has four objectives. The first is to focus on scholarship that enhances pre-service teachers’ awareness of the values, contributions, and potentialities of their own social, cultural, and spiritual environment. The second objective is to equip students to make a meaningful contribution towards the attainment of national goals and the satisfaction of national needs. Third, the Department aims to instil in pre-service teachers the spirit of self-reliance, self confidence, and self-actualization. The final objective of the Department is to ensure that all educational programs provide awareness of the following issues: socio-political developments, the economy of the society, the reality of Nigeria’s pluralistic society, and the need to forge a strong and united country.
