JECA endorses the house style of the Council of Biology Editors (CBE Style manual 6th 1994). Submitted manuscripts will be returned, although original artworks and photographs may be returned on request. Once accepted, all manuscripts become the property of JECA. Two issues of JECA will be published yearly. The editorial board will solicit invited papers.
FORM OF MANUSCRIPT
Manuscripts should be typewritten double-spaced on one side of A4 paper. All scientific names should be underlined or italicized. A margin of 2,5cm should be left on the side of all sheets. Manuscripts should be organized in the following sequence:
Title page: This should contain concise title of work, full name of author(s), institutional affiliations and complete address for correspondence.
Abstract: This must be brief with maximum of 180 words. It should concisely state the significant findings of the work. Three to five key words should be appended at the end of the abstract for purposes of citation of secondary services.
Text: This should be divided into Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results or Observations and Discussions. The results and discussions may be merged for short reports. Conclusion could be added if necessary.
Acknowledgment: Grants/Supports should follow the text if the acknowledgment is desired.
Reference: References should be made only to articles that are published or in press. In the final list, references should be arranged alphabetically. Abbreviation and style of references are as contained in the current edition of the Council of Biology Editors style manual (6th edition 1994). This is organized as follows: Authors name(s), year for publication, complete title, volume and inclusive pages. See the following format:

In terms of nomenclature, JECA adheres to the principles specified in the Nominal anatomica.
Submission of Manuscripts
Submit at first instance two copies of manuscripts (typescript text plus high quality figures for reproduction along with one complete reviewer_s sets) authors are encouraged to provide the final corrected version of accepted manuscripts on diskettes. The computer file should be in PC-DOS compatible format using either WordPerfect. or Processor.. All manuscripts should be addressed to:
