The peer review process is 100% online. When articles are received, they are sent to two members of the editorial team to determine the suitability for publication. Reviewers who have published in that area are then recruited. Articles are then sent at least four reviewers. Decision is taken when we get the report of three reviewers. Articles are accepted if two out of the three reviewer’s comments are positive. Accepted articles are sent for copy editing, typesetting and formatting and finally for language and technical issues. Proofs are sent to the corresponding author and when all corrections have been made, copyright forms are signed and articles are published; first online at our website, and then the hard copy. At each point in time, only about four editorial board members is actively involved

Focus and Scope
Journal of Basic and Clinical Reproductive Sciences (ISSN - 2278-960X, Online - 2320-2041) is a peer-reviewed journal published on behalf of the Society of Reproductive Biologists of Nigeria. The journal publishes articles relating to all aspects of Basic Medical Sciences of the Reproductive system of humans and Animals; Obstetrics and Gynecology; Laboratory Science, Medical Rehabilitation, Nursing, Medical Education, Social and Preventive medicine as it concerns the reproductive system. The Journal is published semiannually (in the months of January and July).
