Guidelines for authors
Journal of Academic Finance is a bilingual journal that publishes theoretical, empirical and/or critical texts focusing on one or more dimensions of finance in the world.
It is dedicated to publishing high quality research papers in all areas of scientific research, finance, accounting, economics and social sciences.
Your submitted original manuscript, in MS-Word, OpenOffice, RTF, or WordPerfect, is "double-blind" peer reviewed and you will be notified of their decision within 2 to 4 weeks.
• Authors undertake to submit only original work. Therefore, any previously submitted or previously published manuscript that is unethical is unacceptable;
• The manuscript should include sufficient detail and references for tracking purposes;
• Only citations that contribute significantly to the research should appear in the manuscript.
• Corresponding authors take full responsibility for the content and all legal aspects of their manuscripts.
• Authors must disclose any research funding or financial support and any relationship of the funder to the contribution and must acknowledge the research work of others by citing it;
• Authors undertake to inform the publisher of errors detected in their already published manuscripts.
Standards for Authors
Presentation :
- The first page will include:
-- the title of the article; in French and English;
-- the names and institutions of the authors, specifying the name and address of the author to contact;
-- a summary of about ten lines in French and in English comprising the following 4 points: the object, the methodology, the results, the originality of the paper;
-- the keywords (7 maximum);
- Double-spaced typed articles will include between 15,000 and 35,000 characters, i.e. 7 to 15 pages, Font Colibri 11.
- The pages, tables, figures and graphs will be numbered (Arabic numerals).
- The subtitle hierarchy will consist of two levels, ie titles and subtitles.
- The notes, whose use will be moderate , will be placed at the bottom of each page in the order 1,2,3,...
- Bibliography: any reference will be indicated in the text by the name(s) of the author(s) followed by the year of publication. In the case of several authors, they will be separated by a comma. For example, “A method has been proposed (Chow, 1997) or (Chow, 1997)”. In the case of several publications by the same author in the same year, the letters a, b,... will be added after the year. The references will then be gathered in the bibliography in alphabetical order according to the name of the first author as follows:
AUTHOR SURNAME 1, Initial First name, AUTHOR SURNAME 2, Initial First name, year, "Article title", Journal title, volume, number, start page-end page (for an article or communication); eg. :p. 1 or p. 1-3.
AUTHOR SURNAME 1, Initial First name, AUTHOR SURNAME 2, Initial First name, year, Title, Publisher or report title (for a book or a report).
Publishing:
A black and white digital passport photograph and bionote will be provided by the author.

Authors who publish in this journal agree to the following terms:
- The authors retain copyright and grant the journal the right of first publication, with the work then available concurrently, under a Creative Commons Attribution License allowing others to share the work while acknowledging authorship and initial publication in this journal.
- Authors may enter into additional and separate contractual agreements for the non-exclusive distribution of the printed version of the work by the journal (e.g., institutional deposit or publication in a book), together with an acknowledgment acknowledging its publication initial in this review.
- Authors have the right and are encouraged to publish their work online (e.g., in an institutional repository or on an institution's website) before and during the submission process, as this can lead to meaningful exchanges as well than to more, more quickly, references to the published work (See The Effect of Open Access ).
