La condizione psicologica dell’io nelle opere di Giorgio Saviane

Abstract

There are three primary themes in Saviane’s work the necessity of the sacred, the investigation of society and the search for identity. This paper analyses the trilogy dedicated to the journey of reconnaissance undertaken by the “I” in order to acquire a moral and cultural identity. A journey which Saviane develops in three phases: in Il passo lungo as the individual discovery of the anima against the authoritarianism of the Ego; in Mare verticale as an ongoing historical process predisposed towards the liberation  of a few from the zoological dimension of the herd; in Eutanasia di un amore as the appropriation of a new idea of love and of the family
