About the Journal
Ife Journal of Science (IJS) is an Open Access Journal published by the Faculty of Science, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. The Journal is managed by two Editors-in-Chief and accepts manuscripts from all aspects of basic and applied science broadly categorized as physical and biological sciences. IJS has over the years maintained a steady growth and now stands as one of the top Journals of Nigerian extraction.
Peer Review:
Each manuscript is sent to three reviewers and based on their recommendations the Editor-in-Chief makes a final decision.
Publication Frequency:
Three issues of the journal will be published yearly (April, August and December). Manuscripts are reviewed as quickly as possible, and you should usually receive a first decision within 6–8 weeks of submission.
