Student's perception of examination malpractices in the University of Ado – Ekiti, Ekiti State
Abstract
The study examined student's perception of examination malpractices in the University of Ado – Ekiti, Ekiti State. A total number of 360 students randomly selected from eight faculties of the University were used as research subjects. The subjects were exposed to “Examination Malpractices Questionnaire” (EMQ) consisting of 16 items. Three hypotheses were postulated. The data were analysed using Chi–square statistics. Result showed that personal characteristics and students' moral judgement were significantly related to students' involvement in examination malpractices.
