MANUSCRIPTS Manuscripts should be sent electronically to the Editor-in-Chief, IFEMED Journal club at ifemedjc@yahoo.com, ifemedjc@gmail.com or by post to the editorial office –C/o Provost, College of Health Sciences, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. Manuscripts submitted by post should be with accompanying soft copies (Compact discs, Flash/Pen discs e.t.c) and those sent electronically should be attached to text and non-text material in different files. All articles must have the following format: 1. title page with full title of paper 10 words maximum , author’s full name, postal and electronic addresses, degrees , department and institutional affiliations 2. abstract and summary of 150-200 words each stating the nature of the paper, materials employed ,conclusions and other significant data 3. text of maximum 1,400 words, typed , double-spaced in Times New Roman font face 4. references in Vancouver style 5. References, graphics, pictures, illustrations, tables and charts should be on separate pages in separate documents/folders from the text document and each numbered consecutively in Arabic numerals 6. Pictures and other figures are limited to a maximum of 4 unless otherwise stated by request 7. All pictorial materials( including photos, pictures, figures) should be sent only in .jpeg format/JPEG image , sizes not less than 850 MB 8. All solicited articles in agreement with the author(s) must be submitted within 1 month of receipt of the Journal club’s Letter of Request 9. Deadline for submission of all articles and other documents for the edition are on January 14, 2007. Correspondence in form of critique, comments or commendation on articles published in the journal is welcome. Original articles, case reports and articles of diverse interest on the theme topic are hereby invited. TERMS & CONDITIONS The Editorial Board however reserves the right to accept, return or request that articles be modified or edited at our discretion. Articles are accepted on the premise that it has not been printed either wholly or in part in any other academic publication before and also on the understanding that they are offered to IFEMED journal club only and as such become the property of the journal club. Any subsequent reproduction therefore can be made only by permission of the editorial board unless in cases where the authors are specially permitted to reserve such right to themselves.
