Peer Review
The review system is a fully established structure that comprises a supervising consultant (usually an academic professor) in the specialty on focus for that edition. Other appointed consultants contribute to overseeing the students in the construction of the whole edition. They along with the rest of the editorial consultants advise on decisions from choice of topics to reviewing, galley proofing e.t.c. The student members under the deputy editor-in-chief do a preliminary review to request changes to be made to conform to the guidelines (word length, tables, pictures, consent, references e.t.c), then they decide what to accept or reject and if it meets the basic standard of the journal. Editorials, Special feautures and other articles are copied and sent to be reviewed blindly by their peers, other specialists in the same field but in different institutions in Nigeria as recommended by the editorial consultants. The current Editor –in-chief then makes the final decision on the articles along with other contents of every edition of the journal.Publication Scheduling
