Publisher information
The management of the International Diplomatic Review Journal recognizes and will continue to honor the contribution of the late Prof Honest Ngowi as among the founding editorial board members who worked tirelessly to ensure that the Journal succeeded.
Peer Review
After receiving manuscripts from authors, the Associate editor reviews to ensure they align with the scope of the Journal. Thereafter, in order to ensure the originality of the work of the authors, a similarity test is conducted on all manuscripts, and the journal tolerates up to 30% of the similarity index. The manuscripts that qualify for the initial two stages are submitted to the Editorial board meeting where they endorse manuscripts that can proceed with further steps. The IDRJ has a database of experts across the scope of the journal. Double-blinded peer reviews by experts are done and the manuscript has to score 70% and above to pass for publication in IDRJ. If the manuscript requires minor corrections, then the author is given the feedback and the timeline to resubmit the manuscript after correction. The Chief Editor ensures that all corrections have been made accordingly. Thereafter these manuscripts that have qualified for this step are submitted to the professional language editor and layout setting. Finally, the journal is published.
