The mediating role of information literacy and information sharing during pandemic

Abstract

The global COVID-19 pandemic has underscored the critical importance of effective information management and dissemination in  crises. This study explored the mediating role of information literacy and information sharing in a pandemic, investigating how  individuals' ability to access, evaluate, and use information influences the sharing relevant and reliable information within communities. Information literacy and information sharing during the pandemic can encourage informed decision-making, positive behaviour change  and maintenance of trust.
