The publisher is the Department for the Study of Religions, University of Ghana.

Articles in the GJRT represent neither the views of the Editorial Board nor the Department for the Study of Religions, University of Ghana.

Sources of Support

With volume 5, the publication of GJRT (as all the Journal of the University of Ghana) has been supported by The Carnegie Corporation of New York through the University of Ghana Building a New Generation of Academic in Africa (BANGA-Africa) Project.

Peer Review

The GJRT follows a double blind review process. Manuscripts are checked for plagiarism before they are sent to the two reviewers.  The review process takes between six and eight weeks. The paper is accepted for publication only when we have positive evaluation from both reviewers.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

University of Ghana uses Open Journal Systems (OJS) to support the publication of academic and student-led Open Access journals. The journals we support can be accessed from this site: UG Journal Management Services

The content is published under a Attribution-Non Commercial-NoDerivs CC BY-NC-ND license. 

Publication Scheduling

This journal publishes two issues per year.

General

1. The languages of publication are English and French
2. Scholarly articles are welcome on any subject within the scope of the journal.
3. We only accept articles that have not been previously published or submitted elsewhere
