Peer Review
Two reviewers in the related field or specialty are invited per article. The manuscripts are sent to the editors/reviewers in the subspecialty to initiate the peer review and return within a specified period. The manuscripts are given manuscript numbers and blinded to the reviewers.
Articles that do not conform to the requirements of this Journal are returned to the author(s) after a median period not exceeding eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of the articles. Returned articles may be accepted for publication if they are modified to an acceptable form as pointed out to the Authors.
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

The abstracts and some selected articles are open access on the Ghana Dental Association’s website but some articles are not open access.

ABOUT THE GHANA DENTAL ASSOCIATION
The Ghana Dental Association (GDA) is an Association of Dental Surgeons in Ghana and plays advocacy role for good oral health.
The GDA educates the Ghanaian populace on the importance of oral health and its link to overall general health.
The GDA seeks the welfare of it’s members and maintains professionalism, integrity to bring honour to the dental profession.
The Association affirms as its Philosophy that:Oral Health must be available, accessible, affordable, appropriate and acceptable at all times to all the people in Ghana.
In collaboration with other professionals in the health sector,the GDA affirms and is commited to rendering good health care to the Ghanaian populace.
