For this purpose, fifty-one percent of the total agriculture extension agents of Peshawar and Nowshera districts were interviewed. Most of the respondents reported no change in the facilities however, the multifarious duties, double chain command, burden of paper work, interference of provincial government etc., multiplied the constraints that hinders the activities of extension staff, after devolution of power.
