All manuscripts are subject to peer review and are expected to meet standards of academic excellence. Fashion and Textiles Review (FTR) operates a double-blind peer-review system, where the reviewers do not know the names or affiliations of the authors, and the reviewer reports provided to the authors are anonymous.

Submitted manuscript will first be checked by the Editors to confirm its originality and suitability is based on the journal’s aims and scope. The Editors may decide to desk reject your manuscript if it does not meet this criterion. Manuscripts that meet this criteria will generally be reviewed by two or more experts to evaluate the originality, soundness, coherence, and scientific rigour of all submitted manuscripts.

The Editorial team will consider the paper based on reports by the reviewers and refer the paper to the editorial board for final approval and publication. However, if the paper is not up to the standard of the journal, it will be rejected.
