Abstract
O linchamento é um fenómeno que ainda persiste em diferentes partes do mundo. Em Angola tem alcançado proporções preocupantes, particularmente na cidade Capital. Os casos de linchamento acontecem essencialmente em jovens, adultos e poucas vezes em crianças. Esta prática além de ser um acto ilícito, por si só, traz inúmeras consequências em vários aspectos. O presente artigo científico baseia-se no um estudo realizado no Bairro do Golfe 2, que tem como objectivo compreender o linchamento, na perspectiva de vítimas. Pese embora a palavra linchamento não faça parte do ordenamento jurídico angolano, não pressupõe dizer que o seu cometimento não constitui um acto ilícito, pelo contrário, esta prática é punível nos termos do ordenamento penal angolano. A referida pesquisa é importante, sendo que o estudo permitirá que os leitores comunidade do Golfe 2 e não só, compreendam que a prática do linchamento é um acto ilícito e constitui um crime.
