Peer Review
EQUIJOST operates a double-blind peer review process. Articles submitted to EQUIJOST will be initially assessed by the editorial office for structure and suitability for the journal. Articles may be rejected if they are unsuitable, sent back to authors for structural revision or sent to two reviewers with cognate expertise in the subject area. The reviewers are given two weeks to submit their feedback to the editorial office. After the peer review process, an article can either be accepted (in its current form, with minor or major revisions) or rejected. If the two reviewers suggest rejection, the editorial office rejects the article. Articles accepted with minor or major revisions are sent back to authors for revision. Authors are given one week and four to six weeks to return the revised article in the case of minor and major revisions, respectively. The editorial office assesses the revised article and decides to accept the article if it is confirmed that amendments have been carried out as suggested by the reviewers.
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
The articles in Equity Journal of Science and Technology are open access articles licensed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution Non-Commercial License (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/3.0/) which permits unrestricted, non-commercial use, distribution and reproduction in any medium, provided the work is properly cited.
