Compartive study between the effects of human CD34 and rat bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells on amelioration of CCL4 induced liver fibrosis
Abstract
Human umbilical cord blood (UCB) cells and rat bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (BM-MSCs) have many advantages as grafts for cell transplantation. The aim of this study was to investigate the impact of UCB cells and BM-MSCs on reversal of hepatic injury and revival of hepatic function in a rat model of carbon tetrachloride
(CCl4)-induced liver fibrosis.
