Peer Review
Peer Review Process The peer-review process is a double blind process with the following steps:
i. Once manuscripts are submitted they are checked by the editor in chief for their scopes in line with the scope of the journal, relevance of the topic and other formatting issues.
ii. Manuscripts accepted by the editors at the initial step are emailed to 2 -3 potential reviewers to be evaluated in 2-4 weeks interval. Reviewers they give their specific comments on the soft copy of the manuscripts and the general comment and their decision on reviewers guide (attached).
iii. Evaluated manuscripts are then emailed to the authors with their specific and general comments as well as decision of the reviewers. Accepted manuscripts by 2 reviewers out of 3 (if there is no critical comment by the third reviewer) will be sent to authors for incorporation of the comments. If there is a critical comment from the third reviewer and if only one out of two reviewers (in case of two reviewers) rejects the manuscript, a fourth or third reviewer will be invited to give his/her comment and suggestions on the original manuscript. The decision of the final invited reviewer will be binding to reject or accept the manuscripts.
iv. Accepted manuscripts are emailed to the authors for incorporation of the comments and answering of queries.
v. Corrected manuscripts then re-emailed to the reviewers in order check that manuscript are modified or corrected to the standard of the journal in particular and scientific community in particular as per the comments and suggestions of the reviewers.
vi. Once approved by the authors for the second time, they will be ready for galley proof copy and emailed back to the authors for minor modifications or corrections (if any).
vii. Corrected and approved manuscripts then will be ready for online and subsequent hard copy publications.
viii. Editor in chief of the journal is a person to make the final decision whether the paper is to be published or not (if there is any doubt in terms of quality of the paper, ethical issues, author’s dispute, and other related issues).
