Abstract

Le transhumanisme, dans les cultures africaines, ne peut être évoqué sans un regard ambivalent sur la technoscience. Comment le transhumanisme influence-t-il les cultures africaines ? Le transhumanisme techniquement organisé est indispensable aux cultures africaines malgré les risques qui l’accompagnent. Il est un vecteur qui, en même temps qu’il crée un désordre au sein des cultures africaines, exige leur réorganisation, leur redynamisation pour que l’Afrique ne reste pas en marge de ses promesses qui influencent l’humanité. Le transhumanisme justifie la finalité de l’existence et la puissance de l’homme à faire reculer ses limites biologiques naturelles. Il est donc primordial de repenser les cultures africaines, afin de les mettre en harmonie avec les technologies d’augmentation. Pour réussir ce pari, les principes humanistes doivent orienter l’implantation d’un transhumanisme démocratique en Afrique. Cela exige un encadrement éthique pouvant favoriser une appropriation sélective des techniques transhumanistes. Il s’agit concrètement d’intégrer dans les cultures africaines un transhumanisme technoscientifiquement organisé. En vérité, face à un monde compétitif, l’Afrique doit accepter le transhumanisme techniquement construit, afin de contribuer essentiellement au développement de son continent. Le rapport de l’Afrique au transhumanisme déterminera l’avenir de ses relations avec le reste du monde. Pour ce faire, des stratégies de résiliences culturelles doivent nous aider à mieux juguler les risques inhérents à l’amélioration et l’augmentation de l’humain Africain.

Transhumanism, in African cultures, cannot be discussed without an ambivalent look at technoscience. How does transhumanism influence African cultures? Technically organized transhumanism is essential to African cultures despite the risks that accompany it. It is the vector which, at the same time as it creates disorder within African cultures, requires their reorganization, their revitalization so that Africa does not remain on the sidelines of its promises which influence humanity. Transhumanism justifies the finality of existing and man power to get back one’s natural weaknesses biologiques. It is therefore essential to rethink African cultures in order to bring them into harmony with augmentation technologies. To succeed in this challenge, humanist principles must guide the establishment of democratic transhumanism in Africa. This requires an ethical framework that can promote selective appropriation of transhumanist techniques. It is concretely a question of integrating a scientifically organised transhumanism into Africain cultures. Truthly, face to a competitive world, Africa must accept technically constructed transhumanism in order to essentially contribute to the development of its continent. Africa’s relationship to transhumanism will determine the future of its relations with the rest of world. Cultural resilience strategies must help to better curb the risks inherent in the improvement and growth of the African human being.
