Cheikh anta diop et les enjeux de la restauration de la conscience historique africaine

Abstract

L’Afrique, berceau de l’humanité, a été victime d’une véritable négation de son histoire. À en croire les instigateurs de cet acte, l’Afrique  serait un continent habité par des barbares, dépourvus de raison, incapables de penser, de créer et de jouer un rôle prépondérant dans  le mouvement de l’histoire universelle. Face à cet acte lourd de conséquences, Cheikh Anta Diop, savant pluridisciplinaire, s’est résolument engagé en faveur de la restauration de la conscience historique africaine qu’il considère comme un impératif à l’avènement  d’une Afrique nouvelle. Son engagement scientifique dévoilera la véritable histoire de l’Afrique qui met en exergue une civilisation  florissante. Aujourd’hui, dans un monde où le Noir continue d’être traité à divers endroits comme un sous-homme, imprégné du  philosopher de Cheikh Anta Diop, cet article se propose de réfléchir sur les enjeux de la restauration de la conscience historique africaine  opérée par ce géant de l’histoire contemporaine de l’Afrique.

English title: Cheikh Anta Diop and the challenges of restoring African historical consciousness

Africa, the cradle of humanity, has been a victim of a real negation of its history. To believe the instigators of this act, Africa would be a  continent inhabited by barbarians, devoid of reason, unable to think, create and play a predominant role in the movement of universal  history. Faced with this heavy act of consequences, Cheikh Anta Diop, plural scholar, resolutely committed himself in favor of restoring the African historical consciousness he considers as a categorical imperative to the advent of a new Africa. Its scientific commitment will  unveil the true history of Africa that puts into practice a flourishing civilization. Today, in a world where Black continues to be treated in  various places like sub-man, impregnated with Cheikh Anta Diop philosopher, this article proposes to reflect on the issues of restoring  African historical consciousness operated by this giant of the contemporary history of Africa.
