Tout article soumis à la revue est d’abord examiné par le comité scientifique pour statuer son sa recevabilité. Cet examen porte sur la concordance de la contribution avec la thématique (le cas échéant), sur le volume (nombre de mots : entre 5000 et 8000 mots), sur la structure de l’article (IMReD), sur la qualité linguistique, etc. Lorsque le comité scientifique trouve un article recevable, il désigne un premier instructeur de l’article (conformément à la spécialité dans laquelle s’inscrit la contribution). Tous les articles sont instruits par les enseignants de rang magistral dans leur domaine. Ce premier rapport est rendu sous trois semaines. L’instruction porte sur, entre autres, le contenu de l’article (fond), la méthodologie liée à la spécialité, la forme (langue). Lorsque tous les rapports sont reçus, le comité scientifique se réunit pour statuer : les articles dont les rapports sont considérés comme suffisamment bons sont validés, ceux dont les rapports sont mauvais sont rejetés et ceux dont les rapports relèvent des difficultés majeures sont soumis à une nouvelle instruction par une nouvelle personne. Pour ces derniers, quand les deux rapports valides l’article, il est retenu, s’il y a une contradiction entre les deux rapports, le comité scientifique prend une décision et si les deux rapports sont mauvais, l’article est rejeté.
Ainsi donc, c’est au final, le comité scientifique, au vu des résultats des instructions, qui décide de la publication ou non d’un article.
La durée minimum du processus d’instruction est de deux (2) mois et la durée maximum est de trois (3) mois.
Les instructions se font sous anonymat complet (aucun contributeur ne sait qui instruit son article et aucun instructeur ne sait le propriétaire de l’article qu’il instruit).
Le rapport d’instruction est présenté par les instructeurs suivant une grille qui leur est fournie par la revue.
Any article submitted to the journal is first examined by the scientific committee to decide on its admissibility. This review focuses on the concordance of the contribution with the theme (if applicable), on the volume (number of words: between 5000 and 8000 words), on the structure of the article (IMReD), on the linguistic quality, etc. When the scientific committee finds an article admissible, it appoints a first instructor of the article (in accordance with the specialty in which the contribution falls). All articles are instructed by Professors or senior lecturers in their field. This first report is submitted within three (3) weeks. The instruction covers, among other things, the content of the article (substance), the methodology linked to the specialty, the form (language). When all the reports are received, the scientific committee meets to make a decision: the articles whose reports are considered sufficiently good are validated, those whose reports are bad are rejected and those whose reports reveal major difficulties are submitted for further review by a new person. For the latter, when the two reports validate the article, it is retained; if there is a contradiction between the two reports, the scientific committee takes a decision and if the two reports are bad, the article is rejected.
Thus, it is ultimately the scientific committee, in view of the results of the instructions, which decides whether or not to publish an article.The minimum duration of the instruction process is two (2) months and the maximum duration is three (3) months.The instructions are done under complete anonymity (no contributor knows who is instructing his article and no instructor knows the owner of the article he is instructing).The instruction report is presented by the instructors according to a grid provided to them by the journal.
