Ectopic scrotum in a boy with anorectal malformation and rectourethral fistula
Abstract
Ectopic scrotum is a rare congenital anomaly. In this case report the case of a 15 months old child with right ectopic scrotum, anorectal malformation, left solitary kidney and type IV choledocal cyst is presented. Such a combination has not been reported in the cases that were reviewed before. The patient initially had a colostomy done at the age of 3 days and underwent a successful Roux-en-y hepaticojejunostomy at the age of 15 months. Anoplasty, Scrotoplasty and orchiopexy, and Colostomy closure, are planned at a later date.
