Choroid plexus carcinoma with extensive drop metastases in an adult male: a case report

Abstract

Choroid plexus carcinoma is a rare malignant tumor, rarely observed after the paediatric age group. We present a case of a choroid plexus carcinoma in a 31-year-old male and discuss the pathophysiology and its spread through the cerebrospinal fluid. This case should increase index of suspicion and need to be on the lookout for signs and symptoms of this disease across the age groups for early diagnosis.
