Abstract

In light of the increasing importance of crowdfunding platforms at the international level and their role in providing the necessary financing to support economic projects and thus enhance financial inclusion, we aim through this paper to shed more light on crowdfunding platforms as one of the most important financing channels that have emerged in the context of the growing role of modern financial technologies. We have reached a conclusion that the Algerian economy achieves sub-standard indicators of financial inclusion and has a modest experience in crowdfunding, which requires the government to expedite laying the ground and the digital, regulatory and legal infrastructure capable of creating opportunities for crowdfunding.
