Abstract

The study aimed to introduce the reality of scientific research in Sudan and its role in achieving sustainable development which was measured by (gross domestic product) with an emphasis on the size of the agreement on scientific research in Sudan. Civil society and individuals in order to keep pace with development and achieve economic and social balance , so the importance of the study is to highlight the role played by scientific research in achieving  sustainable development , which was measured by the gross domestic product in sudan during the period in the 2005-2020, , the study used the descriptive analytical approach and the macro approach, the study came out with the following results , there is a direct relationship between the gross domestic product and the human development index in sudan.
