Le dialogue interreligieux entre le christianisme et l’islam Point de vue d’un théologien protestant

Abstract

un vrai dialogue interreligieux s’opère au niveau de l’intuition mystique, bien au-delà des mythes, rites et ethos qui caractérisent tout  système religieux. Cette étude distingue deux voies : d’une part, la voie de l’exclusion qui veut absolument convertir l’autre, sinon le  rejeter ; et d’autre part, la voie de l’inclusion qui ouvre à la tolérance, l’amour pour tous les êtres, le respect des particularités. La figure de Amadou Hampâté Bâ est proposée en modèle pour un dialogue porté par la mystique.

True interreligious dialogue takes place at the level of mystical intuition, far beyond the myths, rituals and ethos that characterize any  religious system. This study distinguishes two paths: on the one hand, the path of exclusion, which seeks absolutely to convert the other,  if not to reject him; and on the other, the path of inclusion, which opens up to tolerance, love for all beings and respect for particularities.  The figure of Amadou Hampâté Bâ is proposed as a model for a dialogue driven by mysticism.
