La résilience de l’ethnie dans l’Etat-Nation

Abstract

L’identité nationale à tout prix. Il convient d’interroger la persistance des ethnies dans l’Etat post-colonial. Ce travail souhaite montrer qu’un Etat moderne africain ethno-compatible est non seulement possible, mais il est nécessaire pour un continent noir réconcilié avec  lui-même et apaisé. Il le fait en relevant la matrice doctrinale occidentale de l’Etat moderne et en puisant dans les traditions africaines les  ressources pour la construction d’une identité nationale intégrant les identités ethniques.

National identity at all costs. It is worth questioning the persistence of ethnic groups in the post-colonial State. This work aims to show that a modern African state ethno-compatible is not only possible, but it is necessary for a black continent reconciled with itself. It does so  by raising the Western doctrinal matrix of the modern state and by drawing from African traditions the resources for the construction  of a national identity integrating ethnic identities.
