A K Awedoba
Albert Kanlisi Awedoba, FGA (Fellow of the Ghana Academy of Arts and Sciences) is a professor at the Institute of African Studies, University of Ghana, and its former deputy director. Educated in linguistics and social anthropology at the Universities of Ghana and Oxford, Awedoba holds a D.Phil in Social Anthropology. From 2011-2018, Awedoba was the Institute’s Publications Officer, responsible for the publication of the IAS journal and occasional publications, and General Editor of the Contemporary Journal of African Studies.
