DABCO catalyzed synthesis of new 2-amino-8-arylidene-4-aryl-5,6,7,8-tetrahydrobenzo- 4H-pyran-3-carbonitriles from α,ά-bis(substituted benzylidene)cycloalkanones

Abstract

The synthesis of new series of 2-amino-8-arylidene-4-aryl-5,6,7,8-tetrahydrobenzo-4H-pyran-3-carbonitriles from the reaction of α,ά-bis(substituted benzylidene)cycloalkanones with malononitrile under reflux conditions in the presence DABCO in good to excellent yields has been described.
