A new Homopholis (Sauria, Gekkonidae) from the northern Transvaal with a discussion of some generic characters

Abstract

A new gecko, Homopholis mulleri, from the Transvaal Province of South Africa, is described. It is compared with the other two African species of the genus. The new species is closest to Homopholis fascists of East Africa and Ethiopia Some generic characters are discussed.
