Antisocial Personality disorder
Abstract
Personality disorders are mental disorders that are characterized by persistent maladaptive patterns of behavior, cognition and inner experience. These patterns develop early in life, are inflexible and associated with significant distress or disability. Antisocial personality disorder (ASPD) is a psychiatric condition characterized by chronic behavioral and social problems which often involves criminal behavior. These individuals have no regard for right and wrong and disregard the rights, wishes and feelings of others; hence, they are regularly in trouble with the law due to constant violations of regulations without show of remorse.
