2nd International Conference on Community Psychology

Abstract

The 2nd International Conference on Community Psychology was held in Lisboa, Portugal, from 4 to 6 June 2008. The conference attracted about 500 delegates from across the globe, representing 15 to 18 countries. Centred on the theme “building participative, empowering and diverse communities”, the programme included presentations on a range of topics, such as violence, community mental health, adolescent well-being, migration, refugees' health and homelessness.
