Franklin Obeng-Odoom is Associate Professor at the University of Helsinki, Finland. His research interests are centred on the political economy of development, cities and natural resources. Obeng-Odoom's books include Oiling the Urban Economy (2014), Reconstructing Urban Economics (2016), and Property, Institutions, and Social Stratification in Africa (2020). He holds a PhD in Political Economy from the University of Sydney, Australia. He is a Fellow of the Ghana Academy of Arts and Sciences.

Jones Odei Mensah is a Senior Lecturer in the Wits Business School at the University of the Witwatersrand. His research interests lie at the intersection of finance and macroeconomics, with particular focus on financial interconnectedness, international trade and macroeconomic policy. He has recently studied the optimal financing of fiscal deficits, systemic interconnectedness among banking institutions, market comovement, and the impact of commodity shocks on business cycles.
He is the Editor of the Ghanaian Journal of Economics, the International Editor of the Colombo Business Journal, and serves on a number of editorial boards.
He is a Director of the AREF Consult, a research and policy network, and he has consulted widely for leading international organisations. He is currently the Editor of the African Review of Economics and Finance.

Professor Collins Ntim is a Professor of Accounting within the Business School at the University of Southampton. Collins re-joined Southampton Business School in October 2016 as a Professor of Accounting and Head of Department of Accounting from the University of Huddersfield, where he was a Professor of Accounting and Finance, and Director of Graduate Education in the Business School.
Prior to joining Huddersfield, Collins was a Lecturer (Aberystwyth University, and University of Glasgow) and Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor (Universities of Glasgow and Southampton) in accounting and finance. He has a PhD (University of Glasgow), an MRes with Distinction (University of Glasgow), an MSc with Distinction (University of Leicester), and a BSc with First Class (University of Ghana) degrees in accounting and finance, as well as a Postgraduate Certificate of Teaching in Higher Education (Aberystwyth University) and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA).
Imhotep Alagidede is Professor of Finance at the University of the Witwatersrand. He is also the Executive Director of the African Finance and Economics Consult, the President and CEO of the Nile Valley Group of companies. And Emeritus Editor-in-Chief of the African Review of Economics and Finance. He has nearly two decades experience in the teaching and research in applied economics, policy evaluation, modelling and forecasting. He has held a number of visiting and permanent professorship positions in leading academic institutions in the UK, South Africa, Kenya, Tanzania, Mauritius and Ghana.
Imhotep is a metaeconomist, and a transdisciplinary scholar with avid interest in the noumena behind phenomena. He has published widely in leading international peer reviewed journals, and is the Grand Editor of the Journal of Indigenous and Ancestral Studies. He has mentored a large number of pre-doctoral, doctoral and post-doctoral fellows, and consulted widely for governments, multilateral agencies and blue chip corporations.
Dr. Muazu Ibrahim

In his career life, Muazu has worked for key organisations such as ActionAid Ghana, Financial Accountability and Transparency - Africa (FAT-Africa) and Regional Advisory Information and Network Systems (RAINS) among others. His engagement with these organisations has largely been on programmes.
He has also consulted for KPMG-Nigeria, UNICEF Ghana, ActionAid Ghana, LOGODEP/USAID, Associates for Change (AfC), RAINS, International Growth Centre (IGC) on several fields including but not limited to sustainable agriculture, water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), food security, formal and informal finance, education, governance, health, women's empowerment and macro-level studies.
Muazu also has a firm grip on research both in terms of data/methodology and sound analysis. He has a wide and varied experience in both qualitative and quantitative techniques of data collection and analysis. Beyond development work, Muazu has invaluable experience in academia. He holds PhD in Finance from University of The Witwatersrand, South Africa; MSc. in Development Economics from School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London, UK and a BA in Economics (First Class Honours) from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, KNUST, Kumasi, Ghana. He is a Lecturer at the Department of Banking and Finance, School of Business and Law, University for Development Studies, Ghana.
In his early research career, Muazu has extensively published in top-tier journals in the areas of finance and economics. He is one of the Associate Editors of African Review of Economics and Finance (AREF). He is a Research Associate at the Africa Centre on Philanthropy and Social Investment (ACPSI), Wits Business School, South Africa. He is also a Research Fellow with the Macroeconomic and Governance Division (MGD) at the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA), Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

Dr. Gideon Boako is a lecturer in finance at the Kwame Nkumah University of Science and Technology and a Technical Economic Adviser to the Vice President of the Republic of Ghana. He has MSc and MBA in Finance from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, and a PhD in Finance from the University of the Witwatersrand.
Dr. Boako is self-motivated individual with strong commitment to advance knowledge through teaching and research in competitive environments. He is very skilled advanced econometrics. He has strong organisational and analytical skills and his approach to modelling, forecasting and instilling knowledge is second to none. Gideon has published widely in leading international peer reviewed journals.
