Ebstein's anomaly of tricuspid valve with pericardial disease: a case report
Abstract
Ebstein's anomaly is a rare congenital cardiac malformation that affects the tricuspid valve commonly, but its association with pericarditis is even rarer. We report a 35-year-old nulliparous lady who presented with symptoms and signs of right-sided cardiac failure and poorly developed secondary sexual characteristics. Electrocardiography and chest radiograph suggested pericardial effusion and cardiomegaly. A diagnosis of Ebstein's anomaly of the tricuspid valve with pericarditis was confirmed using echocardiography.
