The Annals of Modern Education publishes regular papers reporting findings of empirical research of interest to the international audience of researchers in education. However, review articles on specific educational topics will also be entertained. The paper should describe and discuss the research in a way that will be comprehensible to a global audience of researchers and non-specialists. Manuscripts in all areas of Education - Adult Education, Curriculum and Teaching, Students' Perspectives on Learning Environments, Environmental Education, Social and Special Education, Motivational and Emotional Aspects of Learning, Educational Foundation, etc, will be considered for publication. The Journal aims to facilitate the engagement of researchers world-wide with findings and issues most relevant to their own interests.
Submitted papers are subject to a peer review by reputable researchers who are experts in relevant fields. Our referees will evaluate the quality of research as well as the relevance and accessibility of a paper for an international audience.
Manuscript submission
Submission of a paper will be considered to imply that:
1) The material in the manuscript has not been published, is not being published or considered for publication elsewhere, and will not be submitted for publication elsewhere unless rejected by the Journal editors or withdrawn by the author(s) and
2) To the best of the author’s(s’) knowledge, the material in the manuscript does not infringe upon other published material covered by copyright laws. Authors should document their data sources, models, and estimation procedures as thoroughly as possible, and make the data used available to others for replication purposes.

After submission, you will receive a confirmation via email. You will also receive an e-mail once a decision has been made on your manuscript.
Manuscript Preparation
Manuscripts are to be submitted to the Annals of Modern Education making sure that they are formatted according to the guidelines. All parts of the manuscript should be type-written, doublespaced, with margins of one inch on all sides. Number manuscript pages consecutively throughout the paper. Avoid abbreviations, diagrams, and reference to the text within the abstract.
Affiliation
On the title page, include full names of authors, academic and/or other professional affiliations and the complete mailing address of the author to whom proofs and correspondence should be sent. Do not submit position titles.
Illustrations
Illustrations submitted (line drawings, halftones, photos, photomicrographs, etc) should be clean originals or digital files. Digital files are recommended for highest quality reproduction and should follow these
guidelines:
· 300 dpi or higher
· sized to fit on journal page
· EPS, TIFF, or PSD format only
· submitted as separate files, not embedded in text files.
Colour illustrations will be considered for publication; however, the author will be required to bear the full cost involved in their printing and publication. A custom quote will be provided for colour art totaling more than 4 journal pages. Good-quality colour prints or files should be provided in their final size. The publisher reserves the right to refuse publication of colour prints deemed unacceptable.
Tables and Figures
Tables and figures should be embedded immediately after mention in the electronic text. A short descriptive title should appear above each table with a clear legend and any footnotes suitably identified below. All units must be included. Figures should be completely labeled, taking into account necessary size reduction.
References
Include only references to books, articles, and bulletins actually cited in the text and cite references in the text by author and date (Suzuki, 1993; Edet et al., 2009). Prepare a reference list as follows:

Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to reproduce copyrighted material from other sources and are required to sign an agreement for the transfer of copyright to the publisher. All accepted manuscripts, artwork, and photographs become the property of the publisher.
Proofs
All proofs must be corrected and returned to the publisher within 48 hours of receipt. If the manuscript is not returned within the allotted time, the editor will proofread the article and it will be printed per his instruction. Only correction of typographical errors is permitted at the proof stage.
Offprint
All authors and co-authors of an article will receive one complete copy of the issue in which their article appears. Reprints of an individual article may be ordered for a fee.
Publication fees
A publication fee of $250 (up to eight (8) printed pages will be billed to the authors for each manuscript accepted for publication. After 8 pages, an additional charge of $10 per page will accrue. These fees are to cover publishing of the manuscript, peer-reviewing, copyediting, design and
correspondence. Only those who have paid their publication fees will receive proofs of their papers for the final prepublication check. Additional reprints may be ordered at the cost of $5 each.
