Collection of stand data for ordination
Abstract
Four field stand tables for collecting data for the ordination of species and stands in Mopani Veld are described. The type of data and their manner of collection is indicated. It is important that data for extensive survey be collected within a reasonable time. Stand tables used should record the data in a systematic and logic manner, so that they may be readily summarized in a final stand table on a card which can be filed for future reference.
