The management of pot experiments for fertility studies with pasture crops
Abstract
The problem of moisture control in pot experiments is discussed and a technique whereby pots are periodically watered to field moisture capacity by weighing is described. Discussions on soil preparation and potting procedure, rates and methods of nutrient addition, indicator crops and the rotation of pots on greenhouse benches are included.
