Introduction and preliminary screening of pasture legumes at Marandellas, Rhodesia: 1967-73

Abstract

Between 1967 and 1973 almost 300 legume introductions were screened in the nursery at Grasslands Research Station. The legumes were grown in unreplicated beds and their characteristics noted. Records included habit, vigour, nodulation, time of flowering, seed set, winter greenness and persistence.
