Congratulations on your research paper! How can AJOL help?
Can you publish your paper on AJOL?
AJOL can be a wonderful tool for authors to find journals that might be interested in publishing their work, but AJOL is not a publisher or a journal! We are merely a host website for a variety of different African journals, so papers cannot be submitted directly to us for evaluation or publication. Please do not send papers to applications(at)ajol.info or info(at)ajol.info — we are unable to help you!
How can AJOL help researchers get published?
Thank you for reaching out. African Journals Online is not a publisher or a journal. AJOL only receives the final product for indexing online. The journals we index handle their own publication processes, including submissions. Papers cannot be submitted directly to AJOL for evaluation or publication. This Author Resources link may be useful to you.
We suggest that you search our journal categories for journals relevant to your research interests. You can also search our journals alphabetically, or by country of publication. This function is found on the AJOL home page. You can find this menu by clicking ‘Journals’ and then selection which way you would like to sort them, by category, alphabetically, etc.
If you click on any of the journal titles you can find the related author guidelines by clicking on the green tab called ‘About’, which can be found at the top of the journal’s home page, and then selecting ‘Author Guidelines’. You can then submit your paper directly to the journal using their suggested method.
If you wish to e-mail the journal, click the ‘Contact’ option, which will then display the journal’s preferred contact details
When contacting journals regarding publication, it is recommended that you include your full name, institutional affiliation, the names of your co-authors and their institutions, and the full title and/or subject of your paper in the e-mail.
Please note, some journals charge publishing fees. We are in the process of ensuring that each journal on our site has up-to-date information on what, if any, fees they charge to readers — but please ask the journal directly to be certain.
